About the artists:

Mickey Smith (b. 1972 Duluth, MN USA) received a BA in Photography from Minnesota State University, Moorhead in 1994. Smith has received the McKnight Artist Fellowship for Photography as well as grants from Forecast Public Art Affairs, CEC ArtsLink and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. She has exhibited in New York, China and Russia. In 2010, her work was selected as one of the 40 best permanent public art works in the United States by the Americans for the Arts. John Lamb is a writer living in Fargo, N.D., where he was born but has yet to grow up. An Annenberg fellow, he has covered arts and entertainment, the 2008 presidential campaign, flown with the Blue Angels, been blessed by Ozzy Osbourne, cursed by one of the Monkees and ignored by many important people. An ordained minister, he has performed six weddings including that of his partner in postcards for 20 years, Mickey Smith. He has thwarted the Postal Service for four decades.
